Here is a recipe that I have had for years. The kids enjoy this for dinner, but it really works best at lunch. I always have the cresent rolls in the fridge and usual make them with cheese and sometimes ham rolled up, but these are really a nice way to use leftover chicken or turkey ♥
3 oz cream cheese, softened
3T melted butter
2 c cooked cubed chicken (I usually use leftovers for this)
salt & pepper
2 T milk
1 T chopped chives/onions
1 - 8 oz can crescent dinner rolls
seasoned bread crumbs or crushed croutons
Heat over 350. Blend first 6 ingredients together. Separate dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 c of chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Pull 4 corners of dough into center of chicken mixture - close edges firmly. Place on cookie sheet. Sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake 25-30 mins or until golden brown - ENJOY ♥
