Pizza Rolls

This is such a quick and easy appetizer. I actually took it to an event last night and it was a HIT! I was "told to" put it on my blog :)
My recipe calls for it to be made with pepperoni. But. . . . as you know if you have kids, sometimes things that you buy for a specific recipe disappears before you even get a chance to make it!  Well, that's what happened to me.  I was timing it so that I would make it   right before I was needing to leave the house, so it would still be somewhat warm:)  Unfortunately, "someone" had eaten all the pepperoni, so I had to quickly improvise. I had some beef stick and some sliced ham in the fridge, so that's what I chopped up for the meat.  I think you can change what you put in the rolls, but be careful to not use something with alot of moisture in it.
Oh, one more thing - for the party I took it to, as you can see in the photo it is to have a dipping sauce, but I forgot the jar at home . . .grrr.
1 can refrigerated pizza crust
garlic powder
1 c sliced and chopped pepperoni
1 c shredded cheese (I used pepper jack and provolone/mozz combo)
1/2 c parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 425
Dust surface with flour and unroll the pizza crust. No need to roll it. Sprinkle a little garlic over the dough. Top with cheeses and meat. Starting at the short end, roll crust into a tight log. Slice into 1 inch slices. Mine made 12. If you have troubles just eyeing this, cut in half and then 6 in each piece. Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment or lightly greased. Bake 10-12 mins (mine takes a little longer as I don't measure the cheese, and probably add more than the recipe says)  Serve with your favorite pasta sauce for dipping  ENJOY!! ♥
